Effective date: November 27, 2024

The General Terms and Conditions of Sale below apply to all orders and sales transactions by SILENE, whether for retail sales, sales via the www.silene.be website, or any other sales channel. By placing an order, the customer unreservedly accepts these terms and conditions.

Prices

The prices listed for the products and services offered are in euros, including VAT and excluding shipping costs, any taxes or other levies, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing. For shipments outside Belgium, shipping costs are charged and the shipping costs may be higher than stated on the website. Shipping costs for countries that are not specified can be requested by email.

Payment can be made in one of the ways indicated during the ordering process. The date of crediting SOLIDEN Bv's bank account is the date of payment. If you are in default of any payment, SOLIDEN Bv is entitled to suspend or dissolve (the execution of) the relevant agreement and the related agreement.

All SILENE offers are non-binding and SILENE expressly reserves the right to change prices. If the prices for the products and services offered increase in the period between the order and its execution, you are entitled to cancel the order and terminate the agreement within seven days after notification of the price increase by SILENE.

Orders & quotes

We are only bound by it after sending the order confirmation email or after the execution has started. Information about the items, price and delivery are provided subject to change and correction. Temporary discounts do not apply to gift cards and cannot be combined.

Privacy

Placing an order on the SILENE website means that The Buyer officially agrees to the processing of his personal data for administrative purposes, including: managing the customer base, orders, invoices and deliveries and monitoring being financially solvent.

SILENE will not transfer the personal data to third parties. The Buyer reserves the right to view and correct his personal data at all times. The Buyer also has the right to object free of charge to the processing of his personal data for Direct Marketing initiatives. For more information, The Buyer can contact the Commission for the Protection of Privacy in Brussels.

SOLIDEN Bv may prohibit the use of part of a text, the entire website or qualitatively or quantitatively substantial documents.

Any copy, translation, adaptation, modification or any use of all or any of the protected elements of the website, in any form and by any means, is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of SOLIDEN Bv. Any request in this regard can be sent via the contact form. Any commercial use of the content of the site is strictly prohibited.

Complaints

If there are complaints, we are happy to help you. The customer can always contact us via contact@silene.be. In the case of effective orders, complaints and any visible damage and/or qualitative deficiencies in an item or other shortcoming in delivery must be mentioned within 7 days of delivery, otherwise any right expires.

Force majeure

SILENE cannot be held responsible for any delay in performance or non-performance of our commitments due to events beyond SILENE's control. This includes: supply difficulties or shortages of raw materials, interruption or permanent suspension of production, strikes, lockouts, any other form of work stoppages or collective labour disputes, energy or transport or transport delays that affect SILENE and/or SILENE's suppliers, even if these events are foreseeable. Failure to act immediately against a shortcoming on the part of The Buyer cannot under any circumstances be considered a waiver on the part of SILENE to invoke this shortcoming later.

Evidentiary

Within the framework of their relationships, the Parties involved accept the electronic evidence.

Applicable law

All agreements between the parties are governed exclusively by Belgian law. The courts of Leuven are exclusively competent to settle any dispute.
