Zinnia elegans 'California Giants' , or common zinnia, is a versatile colour mix annual with large, dahlia-like flowers in shades of red-pink and blooms from July until first frost. It is a favourite with bees and butterflies. Perfect for borders, containers and cutting gardens. Its long flowering period makes it ideal for summer gardens.

Sow indoors in April. Do not cover with glass or plastic. Sow directly outdoors in open ground in late April/May.
