'Of Sheep'
The Phlox drummondii is one of the most beloved summer annuals. It is a colorful, low-growing plant with flowers in a wide range of shades, including pink, purple, red and white. The flowers are star-shaped clusters and spread a wonderful scent. Richly flowering from June to September, which look beautiful in the vase.
'Of Sheep' (syn. 'Coral Reef') is an old Victorian blend with pastel-coloured flowers.
Ideal for borders, flower beds, and rockeries, this flower also works beautifully in hanging baskets or pots.
Sow indoors in spring or directly outdoors after the last frost. Seeds will germinate at a constant temperature of 20°C within 7-10 days.
This plant prefers a sunny spot with well-drained soil. It flowers profusely from late spring to autumn.
Native to Texas, where it grows in open fields and meadows.
