Mimulus luteus tigrinus grandiflorus, or monkey flower, is a variety of Mimulus luteus, which actually thrives in swamps or shallow ponds. This species, originating from South America, does best in moist soil, preferably in a shady spot, and blooms from June to September with large flowers, in striking colours, white to yellow and red, spotted or with tiger stripes.

Sow from March to May indoors or outdoors.
