Lunaria annua (Honours Honesty): Decorative Seed Plants
Lunaria with purple flowers, beautiful to sow in shaded places. After flowering in early summer, the well-known papery, silvery-white 'pennies' appear, popular in dried bouquets.

Sow in situ or on waiting beds in early summer for biennial cultivation, or in March-April for flowering in the same (late) year.

Flowers April to June in the second year. Allow seed heads to ripen for decoration.

Native to Europe, grows well in semi-shaded spots with nutritious soil.

With its graceful seed umbels a must-have for natural or decorative gardens.
