Gomphrena haageana 'Qis Red', or globe amaranth, is known for its warm, orange-red tones and is a beautiful variation on the traditional Gomphrena. It is slightly larger than the G. Globosa. This flower is an eye-catcher in the garden as well as in dried bouquets. Blooms from July to October and requires little maintenance. Regular picking keeps the plant beautiful.

Sow indoors in March and plant out in May.

Native to South America, it thrives best in sunny spots with well-drained soil.
